WORKING with and TRANSFORMING: STRESS, ANXIETY & DEPRESSION

WORKSHOP

This 2-day workshop will help participants gain a greater understanding around anxiety and depression.

By exploring:

  • ways in which stress can lead to anxiety if not managed

  • steps to help break free from anxiety

  • the signs and symptoms of SAD and how by recognizing them, we can better self-manage these episodes.

Thoughts are the doorway to know ourselves better and give us an opportunity to transform them. By treating all aspects of self, we can transform these debilitating states. Participants will be giving tools to begin to challenge certain negative thought patterns and understand how collective/accumulation of stress and unresolved traumas play a role in anxiety and depression.

These self-regulation techniques have been proven to help rewire our brains so that we are able to access more our potential. During this workshop, we will also integrate Indigenous, land-based, culturally sensitive practical tools.
